Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Irregular Circumstances LLC (“we,” “us,” the “Company”) handles information in connection with this website. We build our practice on restraint, and our data practices follow the same principle: we collect as little as possible.

The short version

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers on this site. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us by email.

Information we collect

We do not set cookies, run analytics scripts, embed advertising, or use behavioral tracking of any kind.

How we use information

We use the information you email us solely to respond to your inquiry and, if we begin working together, to provide our services. We retain correspondence only as long as needed for those purposes or as required by law.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to operate: Netlify (website hosting) and our email provider (to receive and respond to your messages). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have sent us by emailing hello@irregularcircumstances.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will honor those rights as required.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We take reasonable measures to protect information in our control, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. (We are, after all, in the business of being honest about what can and cannot be secured.)

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
